Just discovered that there’s a Barsad fandom…

… and it includes ships.

…….how? where? why?

Admittedly, though, Barsad seems pretty cool.

But still…. why?

I lied. I found ONE picture of me and my friends costumes from today (Thursday) of comic con. I don’t have anymore cos we got seperated and yadda and I just never got around to taking pictures. Now how to delete last pic post from tumblrphone…

Whoever these people are, they are awesome.

can somebody please tell me how to stop caring about fictional characters and celebrities so i don’t die from a stress-induced stroke before i’m 25

It’s impossible. Luckily, some of us just find ways to make careers out of our fandoms. It is the best life.

(And if it makes anyone feel better, I’ve just turned 26 and was, I believe, the second-youngest person at the conference I just attended where my university PAID FOR ME TO TALK ABOUT TALIA OMG WHAT IS THIS DREAM I’M LIVING Others there were even in their 50s and possibly older, and it was all fandom topics.

So, like I said, the best life.

Women in the comics shop…oh nooeeeess!

A post on Microaggressions today. It’s sad that, despite the fast growing female audience in areas of comics, games, etc., female fans are still looked down upon.

microaggressions:

Almost every time I go into a video game store, comic book store, or the fantasy/sci-fi section of the bookstore, the sales associate asks me if I’m buying a gift for my boyfriend. When I tell them I am shopping for myself, they proceed to explain to me what I should get, assuming I have no idea what to look for.

I am a 21 year old cis Latina woman. Makes me Hulk-smash angry.
