Then they stubmle onto Ra’s.
…and his epic cummerbund.

“Like I said. My name is Tam Fox. And I’m going to die. But at least now I’m not going to die alone.”
I miss Tam. And the spider people. And I always wondered if Ra’s auditioned the decoy.

“Tim Drake is not Bruce Wayne. He isn’t Grayson, or even Damian. Drake is different. […] Look behind his eyes. I suspect he’s already won.”
-Ra’s al Ghul
I’ve seen this tagged as Talia, but it’s actually Mysterious Hand Lady, aka Mysterious Hood Lady, who calls herself Ra’s al Ghul’s sister. The name was coined on CBR and, IIRC, actually did make it into the comics at some point. I don’t have the issue with me at the moment to confirm. Whether she’s Ra’s’s biological sister or means it in a metaphorical way is unknown.
However, despite not being Talia, MHL was cool in her own right. The reveal of her face was awesome.
On another note, hey there, sexy Ra’s. When I was still posting regularly on CBR, Chris Yost (the author of Red Robin #12, the comic from which this page is taken), posted that he felt sure I would enjoy that issue. I did indeed. Not only was it effin’ awesome, but it also ended with shirtless Ra’s in all his shirtless glory.
I will always love this image.
And it will always remind me how much I wanted to see Tim finally take Ra’s up on his offer. Red Robin #12 was still fucking awesome, though. Too, too awesome.
