From Batman Chronicles #8 “The Prison”
As a Talia Roleplayer and ardent Al Ghul fan, sometimes I forget just how much of an evil bastard Ra’s really is. Everything “wrong” with Talia is his fault, really. I think of her, and who she could have been independent of Ra’s - she’s a feeling, fiercely loving and dedicated individual. I cannot recommend this story enough, especially to people who are new to Talia. It’s also collected in “The Strange Deaths of Batman” if anyone’s curious.
