The artist believes he’s read just about every Talia appearance and said this story “really pulls from the Denny O’Neal-Neal Adams stuff…It’s kind of heartbreaking, epic, and awesome!

I have an international flight today and won’t have access to the internet between now and when I get back to my apartment in the UK (at which time I’ll probably sleep for a year), but I’ll be finishing up responses to things people have sent me once I’ve gotten home and unpacked.

Oh, and holy crap, I met Alan Tudyk yesterday

I’ve been a big fan of the rebooted Wonder Woman. I though Azzarello did a great job boiling down Wonder Woman to basic qualities - strength, loyalty, determination and giving her a bit of a tough edge. He also brought in a good supporting cast. It was a shake-up that was much needed. Add Cliff Chiang’s bold art and you had a terrific team.
