I think she’s mostly bitter. What Jason may feel for Bruce pales in comparison to what Nyssa feels for Ra’s. I think she wasn’t bad, but life made her be, somehow.

Last night I dreamed that DC resurrected Nyssa
And she and Talia and Ra’s were all getting along and being one big, happy, murderous family that blew a bunch of stuff up.
I woke up disappointed. So very, very disappointed.

Possibly? His stance on mind-altering substances is something the comics are kind of inconsistent about. In some stories — for instance, the 90s Azrael series — he says that he doesn’t consume alcohol or drugs (though he keeps alcohol around for guests), but in other titles, we see him drinking wine and sometimes liquor. Sometimes the presentation of his more esoteric practices...

I don’t really hate it. :) I just like making fun of the idea of shirtless Ra’s wandering around picking up chicks and groovin’.
I do wonder, though, what happened to that version of Melisande while she was pregnant. Did Ra’s keep her around? Did they listen to vinyl together and make hemp necklaces? Etc.
There needs to be some Ghulstock art.

So last night I reblogged Some Kind of Sinner’s list of songs that remind her of Talia pairings and Talia’s relationships in general. Since I only know, like, three of the songs she included and since I’ve been deprived of Talia reading today (see posts below), I’m going through and listening to every one of them. Some of my readers are aware that I have a lot of trouble getting what I’ve ordered from my LCS. Last month I ordered Young Justice #11 and #12 for Talia-ness.
My LCS did not get them for me.
I have been deprived of Talia time.
Fuck.

Don’t know if she was humouring me or genuinely interested. But whatever hahaha it was fun.
